The Oral Polio Vaccine Is a Great Choice for the Eradication Campaign

In 2014, the Southeast Asia region was declared polio-free. 2011 was the last case of wild polio in India. It's a very, very difficult and logistically challenging campaign to undertake. The WHO estimates that by including vitamin A in the oral polio vaccine, they estimate that 1.5 million childhood deaths have been prevented.
