Extrinsic Motivation Interrupts Your Passion
I used to paint commissions to pay my rent in uni and I ended up doing a lot of paintings that one I didn't even like the subject matter and two I was undercharging. Then I felt it became a chore to me so I had to totally stop painting for a while and then come back and feel that like in a passion again. That's what can be difficult with yeah making your hobby your job your job um. We as a society western societies totally value the wrong things we value money and materialism all of these things that are never ever gonna actually make us happy.
