Spinoza - I Hate Spinoza
When i first read spinoza, i hated him. And then it like started to sink in just how powerful spinoza is and how am I? What delos is essentially doing is sort of, you know, taking that emphasis on affirmation largely from spinoza. They're both giving us these totalizing ontologies. But one has got the sort of the negativity sort of woven into it as a fundamental and constitutive element. That whole meditation about judging life and end howa, that's a symptom itself of a certain type of life. The only thing that can kind of allow for institutions that want to hang on to power is death.
