Getting Into the NHL as a 14-Year-Old Hockey Player
I think I was probably one of the first to come out of Owen Sound. And then you had Bobby Saginetti, who came here and turned into a first round pick. David Cole-Mitus was another one that came through Owen Sound. So I became the Jersey pipeline for a little bit. But yeah, nonetheless. Clarkie became kind of a caretaker for me. The summer before he even played here at this level in Midget Miners. Getting all this exposure to the NHL as a 14 and 15-year-old was just incredible.
