The Future of the Job Market in Canada
Matt Welch: We are seeing a bit of a softening in the labor market. A lot of experts think that the unemployment rate will go up from 5% where it is currently to somewhere in the sixes. He says there is a thesis, he would say out there, that perhaps we could be heading toward a soft landing. Welms: Who knows, maybe we can get through this with minimal damage.
