Carpenter is accidentally a really good filmmaker about gender. He makes movies that have gender in like infecting them at every inch. And this movie is very much about how within all male spaces, there is a fear of like intimacy. There's an attempt to be like, Oh, we're not actually that close. And then you never know,. Yeah.
