The modern data stack is this kind of disaggregation of the different individual components, but with a fairly straightforward integration play. To be able to say everything is oriented around the data warehouse or the data lake, everything plugs in together nicely. There's not as much heavy weight integration and custom code that's necessary wire everything together.
