The Tallest Building in Downtown Austin Is About 13 Hundred Feet.
The flight operated between altitudes of 15 hundred and three thousand feet until eight forty nine p m. The report notes that when they made their turn to the west, they were about a hundred nautical miles north of the direct course between the two airports. This incident is the reason that passenger flights are no longer allowed to fly vefar. It's crazy tellme that this was an option for them back then, that they were just like, "We'll get there"
