The Tower of London
The tower of london was used as a prison in the 19th and 20th centuries. The last person to be executed there was a nancy spy called joseph jacobs, who had parachuted into britain. Also known as 'beef eaters' because part of their salary was paid in beef. They can trace their history back to henry the seventh, when he created this regiment as a sort of personal bodyguard.
