The US Dollar Is a Reserve Currency
The US dollar is a reserve currency. It's something that other countries, foreign governments or foreign companies invest in. There's no law that says it's a reserve currency because its value has been pretty stable over time. But that's about to end. And you can think back. Anybody who's taken history could probably guess at the reserve currencies that the world has had over the years. The British pound comes to mind.
