The Importance of Respecting Domestic Workers' Rights

In 2023, domestic workers must seek their current employer's approval before they can transfer to a new employer. Another option could be to allow migrant domestic workers to live out. There are currently about 140 companies under the household services scheme. This allows workers from Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka or Thailand to work part-time at multiple households without living at the homes they work at.
