The Law and the New Man

Luther said that if you are led by the spirit, you are not under the law. And so in order to do this, obviously, what you need is the law. The parable of the sheep and the goats is constantly used as an example for people to argue that it's what we do that will get us into heaven. But when the sheep are told that they have done all sorts of things for Jesus,  they are totally unaware that they did it at all.
