Coders, the Making of a New Tribe and the Remaking of the World
i wonder, when you look at it that way, are there lessons in it for the programmers of to day? A lot of code these days gets written really quickly because the assumption is that we're only going to use this for one or two years. I think what coball sort of illustrates to us is that we should more frequently be thinking in the long term about how to write good code. Because who knows, it might be kicking on for our grandchildren.
