"I had a panic attack live on the air in 2004. The good news is that my nationally televised freak out ultimately led me to meditation, which I had actually long rejected as ridiculous," he says. Dan ended up writing a best-selling book called 10% Happier. This led to hosting his podcast and building a business with the goal of bringing some inner peace to people who were skeptical about meditation too.
