The Implications of the Lord's Prayer

Do you know what the dominant eschatology was of the church in America? Optimism. They believe that the kingdom of God was going to fill the whole entire world. And don't you find it interesting that when the Americans had a biblical worldview, an eschatology of optimism, that it actually affected the view of the judiciary process and life. That's why we're not being very salty or light about this series. Why? Because many Christians are saying today "the worse it gets, the better it is for me"
