This is the biggest correction to how we treat the working poor, in the last 30 years. It's projected to have a tremendously positive benefit on kids. So i'm not against trying and i don't think christians should just nee jerk react against it because it happens to be a programme that doesn't fit with republican politics. But i'm not ready to say this is the panacea that some people are thinking it is,. We don't know what the unintended consequences will be., he says.
