Haytian Migrations to Africa

Haytians had been visiting africa for a variety of reasons since at least 18 96 to day. Some also took root in africa, where they hoped to find a more settled existence and contribute to the development of newly independent nations. I have divided my analysis of haytian migrations into three categories: pioneers, supernationals and expatriots. i will focus on representatives of the haytian community in decar and examine how they contributed to decolonization and nation building.
