Cognitive diversity has been proven to be a effective way to get to more better solutions, particularly for complex and novel problems. It comes from real world diversity, where you grew up, how you ware raised your your lived experiences which which is very different by race and ethnicity. But it must be paired with inclusivity because if some of the voices feel like they actually can't speak up, then you're not going to get the benefit of what there might be seeing differently.
