How I Got My Job at Sun

I was in the Solaris QA department. We were basically doing certification testing for the different standards that Solaris had implemented like POSIX and what was the other one? Open, Open Unix or yeah, Unix open and a few others. And I was sitting in the same hallways as Brian Cantrell who one of the inventors of D-Trace, Roger Faulkner who invented the proc file system. He had my last name. So I think that's probably how I got the job. It just so happened that my hiring manager at the time was also UF graduate.
