The Story of a Loveland Police Officer

In 1972 a Loveland police officer shot and killed some sort of creature of unknown origin. The first officer to encounter the purported frogman, Ray Shockey, called him one night in March of 1972 after spotting something strange. "I felt he was inevitable before one of these was going to get smushed by a car or, you know, shot by a hunter," Mark Matthews told WCPO Cincinnati.
