The Covenant of Works Is a Problem in Bart's System
Man does not go through a deductive process of coming to know god, but knows god as an upright image bearer from the outset of his being. Man is naturally endowed with everything he needs to keep the covenant and pass the probation, including the natural knowledge of god. But in the deeper protestant conception, man is created good, with original righteousness, holiness and knowledge. Only on bart's system is the covenant of works, then a problem.
