The Electors of Paris - The One Body Who Could Lead Them

The people of paris took over the hotel de ville, basically paris city hall. With the people up in arms, the electors became the one body who might be able to lead them. But they couldn't move fast enough to control anything on that first explosive night. The toll gates and customs walls surrounding the city were smashed randomly, but with a great deal of relish.
