The History of Cultural Psychology

Study of culture is very long. You can easily trace the act, trace it back for a century or even two centuries. The study of culture in psychology was really a few decades old. Back then, lots of data had been available for European Americans and some data began to appear in East Asian countries. What was really surprising back then is that those psychological processes, which appears to be very basic, something you can reveal in various experimental tasks, do show quite cultural differences.
