Preparing for Mars: Insights from Polar Expeditions

This chapter highlights the significance of addressing both technical and psychological aspects in preparation for the Mars mission. By comparing the experiences of astronauts to those of early 1900s polar researchers, insights are drawn to better understand and mitigate the challenges of isolation and confined living conditions on Mars.
