Discourse Particles in Greek Grammar

There's sometimes some reservation involved with well. It's either distancing from the standpoint of the speaker or possibly preparing the listener for bad news. Discourse particles, if they are actually particles and not these fixed phrases like English has, will often pattern sometimes with conjunctions. They might pattern with modal markers, or they might pattern with evidentials. All of those possibilities are some wonderful, confusing combination of them are all possibilities.
