I think it was the second half of my junior year into my senior year, maybe. That's kind of the perfect time for that, though. So low stakes. No one went out of their way to tell me it looked good but no one was like, wow, yes, do this again. My hair is naturally curly slash wavy so when it was short, this was the easiest to maintain.
