Asynchronous Work - How to Keep Relationships and Bonds

When we work asynchronously, typically, the unit that is synchronous is still the team. So if you're on a team, your manager, your peers, usually only one to two hours difference. We structure teams so that they have a lot of time zone overlap. It's just way easier synchronous but within a larger sort of division of many teams, the boundaries between those synchronous teams is asynchronous. And that's where it comes in as sort of the information sharing between teams.
