The Discord Between Elders and Lay Elders

There's no hierarchy in the church. We still get that out in our elder and deacon training. I think everybody agrees on them. There's just not much there, five or ten minutes maybe, but you can't do a whole conversation. Well, saying is trustworthy. If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Mark, how do you encourage meeting your church to aspire to this office?
