The Role of Bloodraven in the Hedge Night

There's a chance that Bloodraven knew right away who he was. He would have known that Egg shaved his hair and all that. I feel like over and over again I kept thinking about the idea of roles and identities beyond just whose identities are secret or whatever. It's definitely and it's reflected in the title. Like who is he? So who is he or she? And who are they? That's such a question for so many characters here.
