The Differences Between Hindus and Muslims Voting BJP
According to Pew Research Center, 19 percent of Muslims in India voted BJP. That means that the party is much more perceived as a developmentalist party or as a tough on crime party and only secondarily, if at all, as Islamophobic. If you're racist in America, you might vote Republican because you're certainly not going to vote Democrat. Now, are there people at lower levels in the BJP who may be Islamophobic? By all accounts, I've heard that may be true.
