California Pork Producers v. California Dormant Commerce Clause

California voters just basically decided that they want the conditions under which those pigs live and die to be better than they generally are. The issue in this case is whether this California statute violates the dormant commerce clause. By prohibiting sales inside the state, they're basically imposing their preferred regulatory scheme on other states. And the challenge is almost like abortion. Well, we'll get there definitely.
