The Consciousness of Octopi
How can we think about meaningfully what it is like to be an octopus? Octopi add another level of complexity because they have this distributed nervous system. We can still say octopuses are hurt by a lot of the same things that would hurt us, like bodily injury being one of the most obvious ones.
