The Cost Difference Between Generic and Brand Name Drugs
The generic version is quite inexpensive already relative to the $300 or so a dose that was typically cited in the criticism of the brand name firms. So these companies really potentially saw their market share going down significantly, especially with that generic option coming out. That will be my conjecture.
