Ghost Fishing: A Cool Name

People don't know what ghost fishing is, but it's a big problem. 25,000 nets totaling about 1250 kilometers in length that were lost every year,. So I want to put that into scale, right? I did a little Google mapping. 1250 kilometers will get you from New York to Chicago. How many big max? Like a hundred million. All right. We'll kind of go around the world a little bit later. But just in the Northeast Atlantic, they're they found in one fishery. And that's just what's lost in that one fishery every year.
