The Importance of Sharing Principles

A lot of politicians try to convince the people in the audience, whether it's a town hall or on TV and wherever, not that they share principles but that they share the same views. I think you always have to go to those first principles. Get them to agree with you on principle first and then work on bringing them to your viewpoint. The mistake libertarians make frequently is presenting themselves as some kind of victims.
