The Great Trap of Human History

How can there be initial condition that doesn't lead to predictable developmental stages, and yet still kept us in a great trap? All the hypotheses on office seemed to not fit the whole story. If egalitarianism was the initial con we should see a lot more of it. And this is precisely what we don't see. It does seem to me there is an alternative theory which tells the story of the dawn of everything in a different way.
