The Tax Credit Transfer Market
The Congressional Budget Office estimated the price tag on the climate bill on the IRA to be $369 billion. We've recently seen one respected market observer state that had foreseen a tax credit transfer market alone to be perhaps $60 billion within a few years. So assuming that to be accurate, you might be talking about the tax equity plus tax credit transfer markets of, you know, $70, $80 billion a year within five or six years. But we see them as additive and even complementary and thumb transactions.
