The Shift to Employ Ascribe Soft Skills
Harhose: There's a very strong link between class and skill. Employers ascribe certain skilled sets by race and ethenicity, he says. White women tend to have public facing rolls while black women are in back of house jobs for example. The shift to employ ascribe soft skills raises three really important issues - the balance of power in the workplace, it compounds stereotyping as well as discriminations.
