Mentoring and Mentoring - Is That Really Essential?
I've never wanted to see a replication of myself I don't think teaching or mentoring should be a narcissistic practice in which you know you get younger folks to carry your word into the world. And surely I've made several errors in my private and public life and I try to take stock of that and take responsibility. But I wouldn't want to be as harshly judged as I judged my mother. Who would? That's amazing. Yes, we're trying not to focus on it in the right but that process you describe feels so essential to me.
