Is the Ransom Note a Complete Farce?

There's too many cutesy, like little references and little things about like Hollywood. Even if you say they're not quoting any movie, it just sounds like stuff that would come from a movie. They could just be quoting things or not specifically quoting movies, but just again, grabbing window dressing that comes to mind. Everything in this letter points to me that nobody had any intention of collecting. It was constructed to slow the investigation to, to delay the start of the investigation.
