The Importance of Empathy

Empathy means experiencing someone else's feelings it comes from a German word that that means feeling into so it requires an emotional component right of really feeling what the other person is feeling. Jesus can just cognitively understand sure what we're going through yeah but that's not actually what the author of Hebrews is actually getting that in that verse he actually is saying no he actually has experienced what you're going through expect he knows what it's like to be tempted. He literally said to him hey throw yourself down off have you ever endured your temptation without sinning ever ever this is a thing sin in a lot of ways gives you out mm-hmmso it allows you to sort of escape
