Socrates was the paradime of an ironist. That means not just hthe as a joker, but it means that he is someone who engages in conversation not in order to express the truths which he takes himself to be in possession of. Kihegarde wrote enormously, but he wrote in he wrote under many different pseudonyms. He wrote in different styles. And one of the great things about kiegarde is that you can never be quite sure whether what you read in his books is whatKihegarde meant,. or whether it's some kind of stunt that he is performing in order to try and can o rearrange the furniture side his readers heads.
