The prevalence of childhood obesity has gone from 5% in 1963 to 19% in 2017. The AAP will say all of these things, but then do nothing with them. They often note that the baseline is not 0%. So there's presumably always some number of kids who are just fat. We're like, I don't think that's the solution.
