What Is Device Fingerprinting?
Device fingerprinting is an attribution method in mobile game advertising that uses publicly available parameters to identify a successful app install. Fingerprinting allows for marketing and tech companies to approximately identify users or devices without the actual user ID creating a digital signature. Apple has started rejecting apps that have these SDKs that incorporate this device fingerprinting as an alternative to the IDFA.
