Is This Rodin's Guest Skull a Reproduction?
Rodin had hundreds of his bronze sculptures produced at Barbieden's Foundry, but ones made during Rodin's lifetime are extremely rare. An estimate on this would be in that $400,000 to $500,000 range. We don't know exactly how many were made, but this is a really very, very good one. In June of this year, 2016, in London, one brought $450,000.
