The Biggest Problem With Higher Education Right Now
i was a little confused by nick hillman's response. He came up with a 70 % figure and then insisted he was talking about higher education, not just university. The vast majority of people are not really er equipped for the kind of traditional university education that we've had in britain. Vast numbers of people getting out first class degrees, making a mockery of degrees. At every stage examinations and expectations have been lowered. That has filtered down throughout the whole school system,. And i think that's what happens when you confuse learners with consumers. But in relation to what tim worsel said, he made a fair point - individuals should have a choice is not the sameg as society
