The Different Types of Determinism

Libertarianism is just a name that is given to describe a particular view or family of views about a free will. Maybe a prior term to be introduced is incompatibleism or compatibleism. There's a question about whether or not free action is compatible with determinism. You could affirm determinism in which case you would have to deny that anyone has free will, for example. Or you could affirm free will and therefore are committed to rejectingeterminism.
