Hardliners in Austria were now in place. Conrad is chief of staff again. General Krobatin, the war minister and General Potioric are all hawks. And even the finance minister, Belinsky, is supporting a major increase in military spending. By that I mean war between Austria and Serbia. The question is, will Russia tolerate if we attack the Serbs?
