IoT can help companies collect, analyze, and interpret data in a more efficient way to make better decisions. There are a number of different ways that people are using IoT and the data from various different sensors for sustainability efforts. A company called Summit Materials have a goal of zero emission net emissions by 2050. They found a way to save 1.8 million dollars in annual fuel costs and therefore also reduce the associated emissions from that down dramatically.
