Yuan Shikai and the Revolt

Between October and November 1911, a whole bunch of provinces just put up the republic flag. Not much is known about these provincial movements and why they declared so fast. Hubei, Hoonan, Yunnan, Shenxi, Jiangxi, Jiangsu, Jiajiang, Fujian, Sichuan, and Shandong all declare for the republic. So basically time to organize the counter-revolution, right? The court is going to strike, the empire has to strike back, man.
